Title: Floppy disks still sold?
Post by: weirdami on March 21, 2004, 12:34:56 AM
Is it even possible to buy new 3 1/2" double density floppy diskettes anymore? I wanted to go about disksalving an old Amiga game I have but I don't really have any new disks. If they are still sold, are they really expensive?

Well I don't know where you are from, but in Denmark it is possible in almost every computer/media store.

I guess the price is around 50 dkr (8-9 $) for 10....

I know it's possible to do that in Indiana too (most of the people here didn't know what a Macintosh,IIgs,  ST, or Amiga was)

Oh yeah, DD so old skool.

I just use HD floppies if I need to, for old Amiga DD drives, it makes no difference.

Oh, and a piece of tape if need be.
