Title: A1200 TF1230 Black screen (sometimes)

Hi folks,

Bit of a strange one. I have an A1200 (recapped) with TF1230. Also has a cf card and Gotek drive. Everything else is original, including the power supply (which may end up being the issue here).

On a cold start, booting from the CF card into workbench will just hang before the Amigados screen shows, screen just stays black. I CAN boot to autoboot on the Gotek though (weird). No matter how many times I restart, the screen stays black. Until eventually it doesn't. Usually this takes about an hour of leaving the thing turned on and in its 'black screen' state before it'll boot into workbench.

Any ideas how I can diagnose this? Anyone seen anything like it before?

Send your TF1230 back to the builder to diagnose your card. it could be the cpld chip has issues.
