Title: micronik z3 board price?
Post by: ylonen on March 16, 2004, 08:39:24 PM
I have a chance to buy Micronik Z3 board for my A1200, any suggestions what would be a reasonable price to offer for it?

Looks like a nice piece of hardware, with Z2/Z3 (depending of the turbocard), ISA, PCI, SCSI etc. Any problems with these boards I should know of?

Hello,
I use to sell these boards. Have 3 Zorro 2's
and they function well depending on what cards
you put into them. The Zorro 3 version is
functional best when you attach a PowerPC
card to it. Otherwise without that CPU slot
it drags a bit. I chose to use the Zorro 2
since I just used a blizzard with the passthrough.
And the cards I chose were zorro 2: Picasso, X-surf,
and Multiface II serial. Sound cards and PCI
are not functional in any of the busboards.
They sold 350.00 new so 50 or 60% off would be
reasonable I'd say in what it can do.
Hope this helps you. I also have a video adapter
for the zorro 3 if you need a flicker fixer.
