Hello all, what is a good chip rom burner and what chips will I need to Burn my custom 1.3, 2.04. 3.1 and 3.1.4 ROM for my Amiga 2000? Thanks.

You can buy (Amazon & several other places) the GQ-4X4; a lower cost programmer and very reliable little devil. To make it useful for Amiga ROMs, you'll need to get with the adapter, and might as well buy an UV eraser from the start. As of now, the only Amiga pin compatible device you can find readily available is the 27C400; an EPROM with twice the capacity needed by Amiga ROMS, but no problem once the data is duplicated before burning. You should be able to still find new AMD 27C400's from China sellers (E-Bay?). Just make sure to get 120ns or faster chips (105 or faster is probably unnecessary). A Windows 10 program like WinHex will be needed for duplicating the ROM contents. Patience will also be needed! Good luck.

I would go for the XGecu T56, the bigger brother of the beloved TL866. In the worst case it costs marginally more than the GQ-4x4 but you will not need any adapter even for the 27C400 EPROMs.
It works very reliably here.

The XGecu is pretty good too. I'd try to find it as a kit with as many adapters as possible, since I need it for PLCC's as well.
