I have two A600 machines.
The plan is to have one machine be Vanilla and keep the 37.300 rom for compatibility.
Then I would upgrade the second machine to a 3.1 or 3.1.4 rom for more functionality and bug fixes.
Is 37.350 really necessary for an A600?

Only if you want to use "big" harddrives. :)

I was browsing that page.
That leads me to think of backwards compatibility with software.
How compatible is KS 2.05 is with WB 1.3 software?
I know that games are the biggest issue.
edit:
Maybe ReloKick is a solution to running old software.

Relokick is good, but i eats up 256k of RAM, keep that in mind. Or add the always useful 1meg chip to the machine. I have a physical kickswitch installed.

It is awesome what people can do with 64K of ram.
I feel like 2 MB of is limiting for some reason.
Rom Switchers are good to have.
I may have to put one in my A600.
