Pretty much that. Was working fine with the Patch but stopped working(the patch is still there, no software changes happenned). I get checksums errs all the time now. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution or should I take it as dead?
It reads HD well by the way, it just won't save/format...
Do the later versions of the OS still require the patch by the way? (not that this is the problem, I've tried all ways).
If it's the writting head(don't remember if it's called this way)would it be possible to find a replacement or do you know of any place that would do it for a cheap price?
Also, does anyone have a newlike case for the thing mine is looking like it was taken out of a trashcan (I know some people put it internally in bigbox amigas).
Then again I don't know why I'm bothering with this, I guess it's just more practicall, you're handed over some PC floppies and I don't want to have to use a PC first to access the files from the Amiga.
This floppy was very nice by the way, didn't even had the disturbing constant clicks (I know you can't turn them off but I heard it's not advisable or something...)

On this link, you can get the last fix for the highdensitypatch.

This fix will fix some problems with a Blizzard 1260.
It works fine for me. This patch works even upto Amiga OS 3.9 with Boning bags 1 and 2.
If you want a copy of the original disk, I am happy to send it to you.

Thx.
I think the drive is half dead but I'll give it a try anyway...
