We are pleased to announce availability of our new low cost A1200 8MB memory expansion.

It features:

* 8MB Fast RAM
* Maths Co Processor (floating Point Unit) socket - accepts a 68882 FPU up to 40Mhz
* Header for optional Real Time Clock module
* Second clockport header

Couldn't you have somehow put 64MB of fast ram on it?* I understand your "new cost effective" strategy. However, this would be the bee's knee's with more ram! Will the product come with any sort of optimized FPU driver? Will AK have FPU's available to purchase as an option at the time of ordering?

*My logic is geared towards the fact that it would then be "race track ready" for AmiSSl's upcoming "cache" update and IBrowse's FPU accelerated capable browser.

Thanks, it was a few months in development then a further few months in production.

8MB is the limit unless we add a CPU upgrade to it also

The 40Mhz FPU is an option to add at the bottom of the product page.

Speed is 2.91 MIPS according to SysInfo.
