Title: SCSI bus

Hi all,

SCSI termination issues has been something that has been the bane of my existence since getting my A4000T.  While I used the SCSI bus over the years, I have pretty much abandoned it and switched to the IDE bus.  Now, after all these years, I forgot a lot of the 'must do' things that I probably have not done.  :)  If I am not using the SCSI bus, should I terminate them (I have the built in A4000T SCSI and the CSPPC SCSI)?  If yes, is passive termination enough or does it need to be active?

No, if you're not using the bus, you need not terminate. And, typically, if there is an external and internal bus and you only use one or the other, you only need to terminate the end of the "side" you're using. If both sides (internal, external) then both must be terminated.

The CSppc scsi is the one to use. It has access to the memory and cpu.
