Title: Non-working Chinon FB-354

Hello!

I have this Floppy Drive Chinon FB-354 that is not working. I have no idea why and I don't have the skiils or tools to attempt to fix it.

Symptoms: Amiga boots fine and it only makes one "click". No more "clicks" after that as would be expected. If you insert a floppy it does not even try to read it, no head movement... anything. Oh! and the small plastic button on the front is missing :(

I know the motherboard is OK because it works fine with other floppy drives.

So... if anyone here wants to try and fix it, and is willing to pay postage from Mexico, it is all yours. Just let me know.

You can buy a new drive for the 600/1200 for $21 from AmigaKit....I think I'd save the cost of postage and get a new one.

ask them if they take returns for repair/refurbish
