I recently nabbed an Apollo 1230 Mk3 on eBay, but it didn't come with a clock battery nor a 68882 FPU. I have two hopefully easy questions:
1> What type/model #/etc of battery does it use? I've looked around on the usual hardware sites, but with no luck.
2> Can anyone suggest a good (ie, cheap) place to grab a 40MHz PLCC 68882? I don't need it right now, but if it's inexpensive enough, might as well grab one.
Here's the Big Book of Amiga Hardware's info for a refresher:
Apollo 1230 Mk-III Turbo (http://www.amiga-hardware.com/apollo1230mkiii.html)
(unfortunately I can't make out the #'s on the battery in the photo.)
Thanks for any assistance,
Geoff

My searching is still fruitless. Anyone with this or similar board? Thanks.

You can get packs of 5 on eBay for the price of one in a shop normally, so that may be a good idea (I am using them now in lots of things with no problems).
The same battery is used in...
PC Motherboards
HPC/Clamshell PDAs
and a few other things....

Thanks for the eBay tip too, just snagged a 5-pack for $3.75 including shipping. :pint:
