Hi to everybody,
I digged out my old A2000 from the attic and I would like to upgrade it a bit. The machine booted right away, when I put it away then years ago, I had the foresight to remove the battery, so everything is neat and clean on the inside. The outside is perfect too, it was stored in its original commodore cardboard box! :))
So I first thought about buying one of those new Vampire things, but I can't find them new and I read a new version is about to get released.
Anyway, I think a Commodore A2630 will do in the meantime. Question is, what are the differences with all the revisions?
I can find hardware revisions raging from REV 4 to REV 9.2. does it make any real difference? I figured out, the ROM needs to be at least v6.00 or above to work with OS 3.1 and 3.1.4 so this question is sorted.
Any advice wich hardware revision I should consider buying?
Thanks for any hint!

Thanks! :)
so ROMs should be v7.00 and what about the Hardware revision? Are there any major differences worth paying attention to between the hardware revisions?
