Do you think I should take it out of the fridge? Or should I try to get it fixed. Does anyone know anywhere where I could get my amiga fixed?
-
Why not do some simple tests; ie removing any peripherals or expansions.. swap out chips if you got another m/b.
Eyetech.co.uk or powerc.com might be able to service it, but with the costs of repair you'd be better off just picking one up from a classified ad.
Mine died a while back, motherboard fault, got a replacement for £5 - job done.

Cheers, but has anyone else got any other ideas?

Have you removed/installed any software, check library revisions, drivers, and other system files.
Re-installing your operating system. Check for virii.

Cheers Skip. But is there any more ideas?

Well,
- Open it up, press down on all chips.. Hard, but not too hard. They tend to work their way out of the sockets because of heat cycles.
- Try it with a different power supply.
- See if the PSU connector is stuck in properly.
- Perhaps your disks have viruses on them? Try it with known good disks (and keep the write protect on and remember to shut down the machine for at least 30sec before you insert the first clean disk)
