I have had a scan doubler ordered from Power Computers now for nearly a month. Although they say they are in stock; in fact they're not. I'm really getting very impatient and was thinking if any of you new any other place where I can get one? and I can then cancel PowerComp.
Furthermore, any idea where I can get a 23 pin female D sub connector? They seem to be very rare.
Thanx in advance

Not really rare, one was included with EACH A4000 sold and one was tossed in with SOME A1942 monitors. It was also availible as an orderable part from Commodore...
If you can't find one, I'm sure that SOMEONE here has a wiring diagram or DIY parts list to make one.
Sorry, I'm using mine: so you can't have it!

For what its worth, PowerC have still not got their SD/FFs in from Germany; but they blatantly advertised. I have waited long enough :pissed:
I can get them from a Swedish company: http://www.ggsdata.se/

Anyone know how you pay these ppl? Can I use my Visa Barclaycard with Sweden?
I'd be better off dealing with an English speaking country.
Is there any American sites I could use to obtain a FF/SD?

Hi PEte: i have a DCE internal SD/FF, never ever used it, came with no manual at all, and with one cable unsoldered. I soldered again, but have no diagram or picture or instruction manual.
If you want it, just send me a pvt mail, and i will give it to you in exchange for something for any of my Amigas that you are no longer using it
Regards

I ordered one from Vesalia and it arrived as expected. I steer clear of Power Computing after they ripped me off. Only ~$50 but it's still money. Software Hut had them in stock in December, so you can check there if you want a US seller.
