Title: Cybergraphx v4
Post by: punkpie on March 10, 2004, 10:05:18 AM
Hi all,

This maybe a really stupid question but does anyone where I can actually purchase the Cybergraphx v4 driver CD?  Or maybe someone is selling a copy?

I'm having a few problems with the CGXv3 (Mediator) drivers under OS 3.9 BB2 and have been told that upgrading the best solution.

Cheers,

Lee

www.schatztruhe.de

The site seems to be mozilla-hostile + it has a database problem at the moment.. :-)

Also, as some very useful folks here have pointed out to me,
download cgxv42_r2_pre11.lha to take care of problems
created when using 3.9 and the boing bags.

If your using CGX with a mediator I've heard its not much better using V4. I assume your using the Virge card? Why not just get a voodoo 3 or higher and use P96. The drivers are perfect with them now.

@mgerics

Yeah, I tried this but you need a copy of the cgx v4 cd to in order to install it.  Not unless you know how to without buying the cd?

I'm sure you didn't want to announce in public that you're going to pirate a commercial amiga product, so let's forget that paragraph asap ;-)

I'm sure that pretty much every dealer will be able to sell you a copy of CybergraphX v4, here are two examples:

CGX v4 at KDH (http://www.kdh-amiga-shop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=247&language=en)
CGX v4 at Vesalia (http://www.vesalia.de/) (enter "cybergraphx" into the search box)
