I have lots of DD disks.
I need a way to format and determine if there is any bad sector?
I tried with Xcopy (regular format not quick) it shows all green.
But when i checkdisk it it shows many red's (http://www.lemonamiga.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif)
Is there any way or software quicker than this? Format and check if the disk has bad sectors?
Thanks

There must be some dedicated software for it too, but I've just used DOpus' format for last two decades. It has a verify option which verifies while formatting and seems to work well. Can't remember if it was already in DOpus4, but at least DOpus 5.x has it.

Will definitely check it out. Thanks.

I did use DCopy3 - it was at least fast, faster than system format. http://aminet.net/disk/misc/DCopy31.lha
