Title: Baseboard and extra 512k chipram Fat agnus issues
Post by: jcrubin on April 01, 2018, 04:34:16 PM
Hello all,

Ive been working with my amiga in a stock hardware mode so that there are no external issues here.  No ACA500+ or anything like that.   Just a 68000.

Installed is a Baseboard expansion BB504A rev 1.2 with Floppy boot and install software version 1.7

Motheeboard rev is 6A

Agnus chip is 8372A 318069-02   [ECS?]   FAT AGNUS? or FATTER?

ROM jumper on baseboard is set for 1.3
JP2 on the motherboard is set to 2-3 [the center to forward connected]
Jumper on Baseboard is set to FAT
both Jumpers on sidecar board set to FAT

Sidecar board is 885048 rev 1.1
Fully populated with  HY534256S-80    9142A in every ram socket

memcheck ran on this configuration shows no errors, just FYI

Now..... If I run the Cram program either in boot or stand alone from the cli.  It says something like " 524280 added to chipram" and crashes, if I set the boot program to fat instead of fatter it loads fine but doesnt add the extra 512

is the motherboard jumper wrong for this agnus???
