My amiga 500 is equipped with a A590 20MB harddrive and a 100MB SCSI zip drive.
I runs on OS3.1, wich is installed on de 20MB harddrive.
The problem is, it sees the zip drive as a 100mb harddrive and i can't hot swap it, because if i do, it keeps thinking the 1st floppy is loaded.
Is it possible to make the zip drive hot swapable?
And how?

Do *NOT* put an RDB on it. RDBs are for "rigid disks" (thus the name). Mount with a mount list.

I'm a noob with amiga's, what do you mean with RDB?
How do you install a mount list?

When I first started with my SCSI Zip Drive I used a Zip Drive "kit" I found on AmiNet. The name escapes me but you can find a FAQ in these search results:

There, or as part of Os 3.9. The mount icon belongs into DEVS:Dosdrivers. It probably requires some adjustment (e.g. its tool types) depending on the device the ZIP is connected with.

What happens if you issue a Diskchange command?
