Title: a1200 with 4xeide99
Post by: bomrat on March 29, 2018, 12:24:29 AM
hi, i received the 4xeide99 in the mail. looking at the directions it says that it automatically creates 4gb partitions.

i have created a sd card using winuae that is 16gb. first part is 2gb (workbench), second is 5gb (tools) and third part is 9gb (games)

this is using pfs3

if i install my sd card to the 4xeide99 will it work without chopping up my already made partitions? or do i need to go another route?

thanks

It does not really create 4GB partitions, but distinct 4GB SCSI devices which can be partitioned like any drive. That behavior is optional and can be enabled or disabled in the 4xEIDE99 Prefs program.

Support for those partitions and drives larger than 4GB is going to depend on the OS version you are installing. Because you are using PFS, It may work correctly if you disable split.
