Post by: Amiga4k on March 25, 2018, 12:20:04 AM
A4000 conversion tower
A3640 and DKB3128 (maxed), (2) Spitfire, CDRW, CDR, Video Toaster, IDE and SCSI HD's. Lots of productivity software. A64 card. Several assorted SCSI cards.

C128, (2) 1571, (2) 1581.  9 MONITORS.
C64 Silver, C64 (new in foam and plastic).
Several crates of C128 and C64 software. Lots of C64/128 productivity software.
Over 1000 3.5 NOS floppies.  Over 1000 assorted 5.25, most are with programs.
Tool bin of Amiga chips and CBM chips.  Bags of CBM ram chips.
All cables  and required power supplies included for the above.
Most are packed in 70qt totes, except monitors.

Florida, zip 34482.   Bring a 12 ft cargo van or covered trailer.
PS<> don't ask for a detailed list, it's too huge.

No reasonable offer refused.  Otherwise, it all does to the recycler and/or dump.  I need to clean out the garage.

Curious on the 9 monitors. I'm still looking for a good 1084S.   :D

Honestly, I'm hoping some will show interest in some of the items before I could get them if we work a deal.  That's a lot to haul!  We'll see.  I hate to see more Commodore and Amiga parts condemned to recycle.

Well, looking at the (non-detaled list), I have been looking for a SCSI CD-RW, could always use a couple more 50pin SCSI HDDs, that "C64 (new in foam and plastic)" sounds interesting, always on the lookout for productivity software (depends on what it is), and who couldn't use a few hundred 3.5" NOS floppies!

Honestly, if this small list is just a fraction of what is available, and depending on what offer he accepts (can't imagine it would be too much if he's just gonna dump it), it's probably worth your trouble.

Right now I am looking at within the first couple of weeks in April.  I would find myself down there this weekend were it not for the holiday.  The logistics of obtaining is not so daunting but the task of sorting and cataloguing might have me donning a leather hat and whip for a while :)

Wow, I come off as a vulture! Sorry you have to unload your Amiga stuff Amig4K! Hope that BMW's worth it!

I'd be willing to lend a hand with cataloging if you like.  Some monotony would actually do me well.

This truck load is from a good friend of mine. You will find some good stuff in there. Glad it found a home.

He's a good guy and speaks well of you.  I'm looking forward to meeting him.

As for the offers of help sorting and cataloguing, I am certainly open to having help.  I'm in Tallahassee so if anyone's up for the trip let me know and we'll make arrangements.

My plans are right now:  Within the first two weeks of April to pickup and bring the items to my climate-controlled storage.  After that I plan to pick a few choice items for display at VCF-SE which is April 21 and 22.  The week after I return I plan to start the real sorting.

In the interim I have a non-climate-controlled storage room I am working to clean out and move to a smaller unit.  This will also allow me to move less climate-sensitive items to make space for the goodies.  That and I have to do work that makes me a living :)

There are a couple of things I really wanted out of that "collection", but I've been to sick to put anything together. If you would let me know when you get it all cataloged, maybe we could strike a small deal.
