Hi all,
Thought I'd list this here before eBay, as I'd like it to go to someone who will use it. I picked this up as higher-ed surplus, its an Amiga HD2000 and has a Video Toaster 4000 board, original keyboard and mouse, and an Ethernet card. Case is a bit dinged up but not missing any plastic components and PSU isn't loud or clogged with dust, looks like it was on a shelf or in a closet for the last 20 years.
Included is an AmigaKit RGB to SCART cable, an SCART to HDMI adapter, and an HDMI to VGA dongle, making this Amiga able to do video out to whatever TV or VGA you've got. I will also include the AmigaKit RGB to VGA direct adapter dongle incase you've got a 15KHz monitor to connect it to.
The Video Toaster 4000 board is included, I removed it from the case to be able to use the internal video instead of a BNC connected TV. Don't know much about it otherwise, but it is included and has been in the static bag since I removed it.

Monitor is not included. I have no software for it, so what's on the drive is it--it does boot in to Workbench, though that's as far as I've gotten. Selling AS-IS due to inability to test everything as it seems you can't write Amiga Floppies from a PC. System info is displayed above, keyboard and mouse work and are included.
Open to offers on it, not in a huge rush to sell, first come first serve. Shipping will be like 35lbs, I'm in the Northwestern US, so US and Canada shipping. PM me here, thanks.

Might be interested. Could you please check the motherboard revision? Also, could you check to see if the battery has/has not been removed and if there is any battery damage? Maybe some pics of the battery area on the mobo? Thx! :)

Sure, I can do that--I opened it up, looks like 1298A on the board rev, not sure where the battery is located to take an image, do I need to take anything out to access it?

Thanks for taking a look....
The battery is going to be located near the front of the mobo just under the left side of the drive/PSU sled.

The revision is going to be something like a 4, 5, or 6x like this photo... for example this is a rev 4.

Here you are, its a Rev. 6 and though the battery area is tricky to take a pic of, here's a few that are pretty good!

Consider this system de-listed. I am hesitant to sell a 30 year old system that I can only test as far as powering it up via PayPal even though I listed it AS IS. I don't want to burn someone or risk the PayPal charge back. AS IS means exactly that. Thanks for the interest, I'll throw it back in the workroom or take it to the local recycler.

or take it to the local recycler.
Aaaugh! Don't do that! :(

Hi again Adam….. when I say that I don’t want to pay with PP "Friends and Family” it simply means that I’m protected if you don’t send it all. As far as what I’m buying from you, I would never even think of making a claim against you if I was dis-satisfied with the Amiga. I saw the screen shots of it running and you were more than helpful in getting pics of the inside! I’m perfectly satisfied with the purchase ( I have bought mucho 30 year old computers!).
My only concern is that I’ve been on Amiga.org (http://amiga.org/) for 13 years with 1500 post whereas you have not been there that long. Everyone on that forum knows me very well. I was burned before for over $700 buy trusting an individual once - the person simply never sent the item and I had sent the funds via PP as F&F so therefore I was never able to go back to PP. I’m just protecting myself in case you don’t send it. That’s all. The A2000 looks perfect to me! And please don’t throw in the trash! You’ll give everyone on Amiga.org (http://amiga.org/) a heart attack!!!! LOL
So, please reconsider sending and I’ll pay via PP as soon as you email me the tracking number. I would never consider ripping someone off. Amiga people a pretty tight bunch and we are very trustworthy. Besides, I kinda doubt you would go to so much trouble just to rip someone off for a minimal amount of money.
Again, I know and see what I’m buying from you - no problem there! :-) I’m not going to come back on you for a 30 year old computer. Besides, the Dell shipping box sounds perfect! I'll even add extra $ for Paypal fee. :)
