Hi Guys.
I have a chance at a virtually unused BX48 Batego II EPROM Programmer for a very good price.
Over recent years I have got into fixing old 80's and 90's PC's, Ataris, Amigas etc, and have spent a fair bit on replacement EPROMS and ROMS, to more than cover the asking price I'm being given.
Am I right in saying that the BX48 Batego II is going to do all I need when it comes to the complete Amiga range ( at least from the 1000, 500, and 1200 models ), just looking for some clarification, feedback from other users.

Thanks guys.

They are okay I hear, but depending on price I would rather use the Xeltek 610P. Its never failed me through hundreds of writes now.

Thanks guys.
check the device list for 27c400 eprom(a2,3,4K roms), most programmers need a 16 bit adapter to do this(one reason i got a bp-1600 that handles it w/o adapters).
27c800,27c160 for making large roms with multiple kickstarts.
other thing would be make sure it does replacement gals for a3000 like gal16v8d
other thing might be gals for the a3640 accelerator.plcc gals. cheap plcc to dip adapters exist of the programmer can use them.
most other roms i can think of like scsi controllers, bridgeboards etc are fairly common stuff for most eprom programmers.

Thanks very much for the info everyone. Unfortunately it got sold before I had a chance to grab it!
Here's a supported device list in case you interested.
