Hello eveyone
I`m in desperate need for a way of viewing all of my fonts at once. Like photofolio. That sort of thing. i have loads and I`m looking for one particular one. Please save me from this hell! I`m pretty sure its not using any special format. Searching loads of fonts manually isn`t my idea of fun! If there is nothing to do this. I may create somethingn to do it. Though after I`ve found the font.

If you don't find a better one please try this one that I've just written:
fontlist.lha (http://home.t-online.de/home/thomas-rapp/download/fontlist.lha)
Must be called from the Shell.
Arguments are:
path - path to the fonts directory. Default is Fonts:
size - size of the fonts to display. Default is 20.
exampletext - text to display for each font. Default is a string of all letters and numbers
pubscreen - name of public screen to open the window on. Default is Workbench.
Note: it loads all fonts into memory, so you need either lots of chip mem or a graphics card (and lots of fast mem).
Use it on you own risk.
Please tell me what you think about it.
Bye,
Thomas

Rather than launch a program like psfont (free?) or something , i just use the system directory.
Create an icon Picture, using iconimage for example, of the actual font.
It`s really easy then just open the drawer and pick a font. :-D
Hope this helps.

Good work. This would be a great replacement for the current font
requesters.
If so inclinded, you could also include a string gadget at the bottom for
free text entry when a font type is clicked.
