I had delivered today a AmigaOne XE G4. Now that I have it, there is no video signal, none! It does (did) work and I know this for a fact. This computer was in use for years. It was working a few days ago as the owner was removing some personal files off the hard drive.
But not now?? any ideas would be a great big help. Thanks much :)

Reseat video card?

CMOS battery must be good and if its died you will need to set the values required again. This is a very common failure on these.
Here are some good sources of info on getting it back once you get a new battery.

Where did you get it from as anyone selling something should have it in good
Working order and packed correctly.I sent a 3000d to California and the guy
Opened it up and it worked no problem .

and? any luck?

A fresh battery is always a good idea with these machines and if you still get no display after a new battery and checking the cards and CPU module are seated properly you can the serial output for signs of life.

Thank you all. The new battery did the trick. It boots up to AmigaOS4.1 update 6. Nice :)
however "if you have the "bootdelay" variable set" Well it's not and I can't get it to the console mode. I will share this, I have no interest in reading and working on this for hours. I have spent 1 hour and I am done.
Thank you guy's :)

You are lucky. I have an AmigaOne XE for 8 years now. If I let it sit for a few months, it will not boot and have no video. The BIOS batter will be fine. I have to remove the MB and reseat the CPU module. It is really a poor designed board. It has been behaving recently though :)
