Title: Buyers Beware!

As much as it pains me to do this and HOPE its just a misunderstand and nothing more,  I feel I should warn users here of a potential issue from a fellow user against me. He goes by the Name Shaf here and has been a long time user, which is why I dont get how this happened. I want to believe its a misunderstanding, but him no longer responding to my emails has got me very concerned now. $300 sent for items and still no shipment.

Sorry to hear this. I used to get scammers and disappearing acts back in the comp.sys.amiga.marketplace days, sad to see this still goes down.

I have been burned as well. It was for a number of magazine back-issues. User promised to pay but then 'disappeared'.

Hopefully you get some sort of resolution.

I've bought some stuff from him locally as he's only a 40 minute drive from my place, really nice guy to deal with so I don't think he's intentionally not getting back to you Paul ? I've reached out to him to make sure all is ok & hopefully things will get resolved soon.

say what you want about the Amiga community but (trolls aside) through thick and thin we've always been helpful with each other whenever possible:hammer::drink:

Thank you! I am still real concerned. He said it would go out this weekend again now and I've heard nothing. I am leaving on a work trip, so at least I will not be emailig him now for a week. I hope I hear something when I get back on the 8th.

Well still no word from him after another weekend passed and he telling me the items I paid him for would be shipped by the weekend. If anyone has his address and can PM me I'd like to send a registered letter to him. No excuse for this. He got my money and I'm sure has spent it by now. He has time for that he should have time to explain this excessive delay.
