Title: The Amiga Future magazine - Issue 129 preview is now available to view online
Post by: AndreasM on October 19, 2017, 02:16:32 PM
This is the full colour preview and excerpts of the Amiga Future issue 129 (November/December 2017) can now be viewed online on the Amiga Future website.

Some of the interesting articles in this issue are:

Preview Reshoot R
Review Hermes
Interview Ben Hermans

Of course there's so MUCH more actually in the magazine.

Needless to say you often get other versions of software, often what was commercially available, as well as some of the latest try-outs or freely released software applications and games for, hopefully, all of the Amiga type Operating systems, so that's Amiga 'Classic', OS4, MorphOS, and AROS, including some PD software for these systems, all on the Readers' cover CD.

A detailed description of content and excerpts of this current issue can be found at: http://www.amigafuture.de/kb.php?mode=cat&cat=13

The Amiga Future magazine is available as an English and German printed magazine - every issue is available in FULL COLOUR - directly available from the magazine editorial office and also from various other Amiga dealers.

Which 'certain column' would that be?

Upon further research our German speaking buddies will be able to see it too.  Anyway best thing to do is buy a copy when it is out at the start of the month and have a read of the many great articles which are in this month's edition.

Well, alrighty then . . . will dooo!

Oh, I've already read all the contents of the upcoming issue 129, latest Amiga Future magazine, and seen some of the contents of the AF130 magazine - but that's because I work on, and contribute to, the AF magazine as part of the editorial team. In fact most of what you read in the English text above from the magazine's Editor In Chief (The Master/Meister) Andreas was submitted by me for such impending magazine releases, along with most of the English text you read that is in the magazine itself.

By the way what happened to your blog -  at - http://www.Amigax5000.wordpress.com
As it seems to have left its moorings!

Well as the magazine is now due for release I can let the cat out of the bag and mention that I feature in the Trevor's Soapbox article this month along with another gentleman who details his Amiga Story.

My blog is still there, much encouraged by the initial response to it, i decided to upgrade my subscription to a paid one and took out a domain name it should redirect to the much easier to remember http://www.amigax5000.blog :-)

Btw I have had over 1200 views of the Amiga 32 show report that i posted last Sunday morning, so a massive thank you to all who have taken the time to read it and give feedback, it has been a massive source of encouragement.

OK I remember editing that article, so I know what you're talking about now.

I still get a failure to access your blog using OWB, as when I try to access your blog I get -
"Unable to open 'https://amigax5000.blog/'."
"Error 52: Server returned nothing (no headers, no data)"

With "http" instead of "https" or with the "www." prefix. I can view the cached Google version, but nothing currently actually online using OWB from the address you've supplied. Which seems a little weird/odd!

I agree your blog covered the event's best points quite nicely.

@nearly-right

Yea that does sound a tad weird, I do test out the access to my blog posts via Netsurf and  Odyssey on OS4 it gives me the option to view as Tablet desktop or mobile versions. I also do a quick check on my mobile and on a Windows 10 tablet I have at home to make sure things are positioned correctly.  Not sure if you may need to clear any cached settings within your OWB to display the latest page?
