so unarc wasn't the problem turned out after I downloaded the lha file from my A4000 all was fine.

BUT now I get same error after I try to minimize DOpus??? Snoopy reports that it fails to open dopus.library & 3 tool type issues....boh

80000005 is division by zero. Some component in your system contains a zero where many programs expect a non-zero value.

One reason I could imagine is a font if you use a custom font. Some stupid font makers put invalid values into fields they think which don't apply to their font. For example the font width for a proportional font.

Try to configure standard fonts like Topaz, Helvetica or Courier. If the problem goes away, identify the custom font which caused the problem and delete it.

@ Thomas

checked fonts and was using Topaz, messed around some more and snoopy was looking for popupmenu.library so installed it and no more error:)
