Hello. Does anyone have experience with this item. Will it be a good purchase?

I don't want indivision because I need to take the sdoubler back to to places.

Thanks.

Looks like a GBS-8200 based product. If VGA is a requirement, the GBS-8200 is hard to avoid.

You should ask the seller what the audio leads are for since they're not used with VGA.

If HDMI is an option, an RGB SCART lead to the HDMI/SCART to HDMI upscaler is another choice.

These are usually a big letdown/waste of money. The Indivision SD/FF is the best available these days.

Open Source Scan Convertor (OSSC). Amazing image quality, portable, but not cheap.

I'm using this:

https://www.amazon.com/Scart-Converter-Scaler-S-Video-Images/dp/B01DLZ8K0C/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1507639250&sr=8-4&keywords=scart+to+hdmi

With this cable:

Really nice picture (I don't use it for Workbench, but it is very good quality). It is a good start. Best solution is Indivision if you want to spend time doing something in WB, for games my solution is perfect and CHEAP :).
