Ha ha interesting stuff! Apple wasted time trying to combat the Amiga. All they needed to do was wait 4 years and then advertise in Amiga Format post Commodore's bankruptcy!!

Nothing was more lethal to the Amiga than Commodore's own management and marketing folks.
Speaking of Apple... Anybody remember their ads against multitasking? I always assumed that was against the Amiga as well but probably any computer at the time that did multitasking. I think their tag line was like "One person. One computer. One Task." or something like. Those ads really tried to sell the distraction of multitasking. What a crazy time in technology.
