Title: Toast Anyone
Post by: scuzzb494 on September 30, 2017, 08:20:57 AM
Hi

Someone recently asked about the Toaster and for the life of me I can't find the thread comment. Anyway, I was sifting through the boxes yesterday and photographed this so that is all I have.... the pictures are at the bottom of one of my recent diary entries. I also link the September diary for anyone interested.

Ok, so you had me at Toaster! I always wanted a toaster/flyer combo, one day!

But then I went on to read about the Landsdown computer centre, where I bought my 1200! I lived in Bournemouth from 90-93; you're right, the shop was great. Thanks for sharing.

I just recently came to acquire the toaster flyer combo for the 2000 and 4000.
Also gave me a separate %&$#?@!%&$#?@!%&$#?@!8220;flyer%&$#?@!%&$#?@!%&$#?@!8221; computer tower that was used to help processing.
All I know so far.

You have to admire the the branding and packaging that NewTek did on all of their products. It just looked so professional with that hint of fun. They never ceased to impress me with their attention to detail. If only Commodore had been able to do that with their marketing material.

It is hard to believe that Paul Montgomery has been gone for almost 20 years now.

Thanks for the awesome photos!
