Nice! Would love to have one of these, but their rarity keeps prices too high.

Have an SX-1 though and have been enjoying similar functionality (albeit with stock 020) and connectivity. Just wish it was designed to fit inside, like the SX32. Then again, that external metal case is handy for placing a disk drive atop.  :)

Yeah, I have an SX1 myself, and its a cumbersome combination with the CD32.
The CD32 would make a good base to build something advanced with an FPGA.

It's worse when you know that back in 2000 Analogic were selling these boards complete with a CD32 and 8MB RAM for just £149.95.  I must have missed that at the time because I'm sure I'd have snapped one up.

I bought my first one for 50 Euros and the second one for 100 Euros.

Yeah, bought one for my sister to do her school work on in 2000. It means she has fond memories of the Amiga too ;-)

I got enough money from the eventual sale to pretty much buy a second hand A4000T (it was going cheap due to it being collection only).

Confusing - is it SX32 or SX32 Pro?

Sysinfo and the manuals certainly hints at SX32 (68EC020 and no 68030), but what is visible through that  very nasty crack in the case suggests SX32 Pro.

People at that time were too busy working out ways to towerise their A1200s! They failed to notice they could have bought a small footprint Amiga with a 030 50Mhz (in the 'Pro'), EDO Fast RAM and 100% CD32 compatible CD machine for less money than they were going to be throwing at a specialist tower case! I'm also guessing a frankenstein A1200 with stability problems isn't worth as much now as a SX32 machine ;-) Crazy but true.
