I'm finally putting the case back on my 2000. What suggestions do ya'll have for raising the height of a PCD-50B mounted in the left floppy drive bay? If I mount to the base, it's too low for the case. I can't seem to find the right standoffs that fit into the bottom holes of the PCD-50B. Are they available? Is there a recommended 'hack'?
Thanks

Workaround 1: Get some (slightly) longer screws and metal washers at the hardware store to raise the drive height.
Workaround 2: If you don't have a CD drive, get something like this (http://www.ebay.com/itm/EverCool-Beige-Metal-Mounting-Kit-3-5-to-5-25-Drive-Bay-Computer-Case-Adapter-/222539893432) to mount the drive in the 5.25" bay.
I opted for the latter. The A2000's floppy bays are unusual in that only Commodore's floppy drives fit in them without a big gap - they're slightly taller than a standard half-height bay.

Thanks.. i found a mechy thread indicating the threads were 4-40.. found some 4-40 3/4-inch machine screws and 8-32 nuts (used as thick washers) at the hardware store and it worked well. Three 8-32 nuts raised the reader to near perfect center line of the floppy.
