Managed to do a bit of an update to my blog and overhaul a few bits and pieces and introduce a new layout.
For those interested, i have had a look at word processing options on the X5000 today.

Just read your post...Wow, seems pretty dautning, but I'm going to try it and I'll post my results. The uboot process is something I want to learn for sure.

The Linux installation was certainly head scratching that's for sure, but yes it's made me understand what's going on in the background when you boot into an OS a lot better so for me it's been a good learning curve doing this :)
