Title: Toaster 4000 question
Post by: Bigbronc on May 18, 2017, 04:03:13 AM
I have a A2000 with a 4000 toaster card. It used to work but after reinstalling a CF card hard drive.i have 3.1 toaster software with 4.1b installed. When I try to launch the toaster it shows the loading window then blank never to return. No guru message just dark screen. Is there a way to force the card to launch?

At any point do you get the "toaster not responding" message or does it stay black?

On the CF card do you have a fresh install of everything? Is the CF card on the same SCSI or IDE bus as before?

Does it care? If I swap the 68040 card with SCSI controller over to the new computer will it start? Does it have to be the same toaster?

The first time you run toaster, it runs a program called AutoHUE.

It will need to do that again if you change any major component (like another toaster)
