Title: Amiga CDTV / A500 8MB RAM Board

Just snagged one of these Amiga CDTV A500 / 8MB RAM Boards. I've been looking forever for an easy fast ram solution for my A500 (Kipper2K board is hard to get now). He has a couple left. :) Price is good but that exchange rate is :(  .....

Yes, enjoy indeed! Now on to a PlipBox and a SCSI2SD adapter. :) Then the Mechy SCSI card reader goes into the A2K! :)

BTW Mike, this seller also has quite a few GVP 4MB 64-Pin SIMMs... aren't these the rare ones you were trying to source for a long time? It seems to me that I recently saw a thread on EAB were someone (Matze?) had a new batch made up for GVP accelerators.

Nah, I found what I needed forever ago.  It was from something similar - someone made up their own batch of GVP-compatible SIMMs over on Amibay, since original ones are like hen's teeth!  ;)  Thanks though!

Interesting RAM upgrade! I havent seen that one before. I have one that goes on the diagnostic port in mine. Also gives me 8MB auto config.

I bet this would work in an A500 as well?

Actually, I'm thinking this will work in an A2000 as well. Might need a Rev6 mobo though. But my Blizzzzzz suites my fast ram needs in my A2K just fine! :)

I wonder who had these made up? Nice simple design.

Should work in an A2000 as long as it physically fits underneath the drive sled. Also probably not compatible with CPU slot accelerators. But definitely a clean, modern upgrade. :)
