Hi.
I'm wondering if it is possible to make the Piccolo SD64 output a widescreen resolution, like HD-Ready?
Is it possible at all and just some fiddling with Picasso64Settings?

Simply from the perspective of bandwidth, it should be possible if you restrict yourself to 8-bit chunky modes. The Cirrus chip on it is rather flexible and can generate whatever timing you need, including HD-Ready, and probably even full HD at 8bpp (but not above).
It might require a bit of fiddling, though.

OK, thanks.
As long as it's possible, I'll try for a bit.
I'm having a 24" LCD here which I'd like to use fullscreen instead of having large black bars on each side.

Tested a bit myself. HDReady (1280x720p) is possible. Actually, even 1280x1024 is possible, and HDReady should also be available in HiColor (16bpp). FullHD is not possible, at least the driver maxes out at 1600 horizontal resolution.

Yep, thanks. Got it done.
The 'Edit' functionality of Picasso96Prefs is actually quite nice.
