Title: ACard AEC-7730A/7732 UW-SCSI to SATA adapters available
Post by: LoadWB on April 28, 2017, 12:52:22 AM
This weekend I will be at VCF Southeast where I will have eight ACard AEC-7730A UW-SCSI to SATA HDD adapters and 10 ACard AEC-7732 UW-SCSI to SATA optical drive adapters for sale at the consignment shop.

Any remaining I'll make available to community first before sending off to eBay.

I have tested both models with my A4000D and CyberStorm MK-III, a Kingston 120GB SATA SSD, and a SATA DVD-RW.

The 7732s are brand new, and the 7730As are factory new from ACard.

They will only be available to US and Canadian buyers. I know that sucks and might aggravate some people, I just really don't want to deal with the paperwork. If you are over-seas and want to coordinate with someone you know in the US I'll be happy to accommodate.

Interest declared ......  although these bridges tend to be a little too rich for my blood.

@LoadWB, would you mind shooting me a PM with asking price? :)

PS.... I should state what I'm interested in!
I'm interested in one ACard AEC-7730A.

Do these Acard adapters work with drives larger than 2 TB? None of the SCSI-IDE adapters do. The AEC 7726Q, even with the latest firmware, only supports up to  2 TB...

For anyone outside North America who needs one, I have two Acard SCSI adapters going spare. One Ultrawide and one Ultra.

Good question, to which I have no answer.  I can try one with a test rig when I get back if I can get my hands on a proper controller.  I never considered drives that large as my target is the Amiga with SSDs.
