Title: Aminet down?

aminet.net gives me an error about "Unable to connect to database"... is this scheduled downtime, or ... (dramatic music) unscheduled downtime?

Where's the latest list of mirrors?  The last one I tried - all of them were down, as well.  :(

Not sure if this helps but if you go in through the ftp you can find the folders etc

My guess they have just locked the site out while they update.

@all:

updated the index page to contain a small update and a list of servers you can still access. We're having problems with our hoster (or rather what they consider proper support), we'll be back online as soon as possible.

You should be able to browse them directly. For instance, just visit the server directly in your browser:

http://us3.aminet.net (http://us3.aminet.net)

This particular one is still running on a real Amiga :)
