Hi all,
I recently acquired an untested Picasso IV in an eBay auction for a decent price.
When I received it it looked to be in amazing condition visually with one notable exception - the scandoubler/flickerfixer module was broken off (as needed for installation in A2000) and not included. While this was a bit of a disappointment the price was still good even considering this. I have not had the chance to test it properly yet but hope for the best.
I have 2 questions:
- is the card still fully functional as a pure RTG solution without the flifi module or are there any limitations associated with that?
- should I be able to acquire the flifi module module separately how is it connected to the main card - do I need a special cable for that (that should be included with the eventual purchase?) or is it somehow soldered?
Thank you.
Cheers,
Radim

Yes, it works as a normal gfx-card

You need to connect the flifi with two ribbon-cables to the PIV... no soldering...

Thanks!
