I know that many peole says it impossble, but i found post where some says it work

you need to get the needed DHCP stuff from aminet:
ftp://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/comm/tcp/DHCP20_68k.lha
read the readme and have a bash at it. Assuming you follow the instructions it should go okay... but then its a linux cross compile so who knows...

Is it anyway possible that genesis own dhcp preferences work or is it just fake.

Genesis, at least the OS3.9 version I have, doesn't support DHCP natively. If you're talking BOOTP then that's different.

Errr, that package is the DHCP server, not the client.
edit: whoops, that one had the client as well, sorry :-)
