Title: Amiga 500, Amiga 2000 + monitor FREE
Post by: SFRENCH on February 12, 2017, 05:56:50 PM: I have an Amiga 500 which was my daughter's in college (1990), and an Amiga 2000, monitor (1080 refurb) HP Deskjet and a Bunch of floppies with software and games,,, all for free. They are just taking up space in my attic. I was a senior process engineer for Commodore for 11 years in the Audubon, PA fab where we made the Amiga chips. All I'm asking is for someone to give them a good home, pick them up or arrange for shipping. It seems a waste just to throw them out! Sam French, scf0419@verizon.net (scf0419@verizon.net).

NOTE: In just about an hour I have had three replies. Two local (to me) and one in Canada.
Please let me work through these before getting your hopes up. It only takes one to get all of it.
Thanks for your enthusiasm. It makes me wonder what Irving Gould was up to all those years ago...

A worthwhile suggestion, but he has already found someone close to his home that wants them, so... ;-(

I second that notion. WTF do these hoarder idiots have these machines for? Just to add to their sig or facebook? What losers. My favorite was a post I saw here or aw.net some idiot saying he pulls his NG amiga "out of the closet" just to do the latest update of os4 and then back in the closet???
