Trying to get my 3000T going again after years of being down. Pretty sure power supply is the problem. It will power on and fans run but all I get is a black screen. Voltages are low when tested.
Does anyone know anyone who would repair these or sell something that will work with the 3000T? Not really worried about it fitting in the case if the old one can't be rebuilt. Just want to get my 3000T back up and running.

No, but you should find the following link useful, it lists the differences between ATX and A3000T so getting the pins right isn't too much of a chore. It's about 2/3rd way down the page (Ian Stedman appears to have done all possible Amiga PSUs);-
http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/amiga_hacks/Amiga_Power_supplies/body_amiga_power_supplies.html
The snag is, you will have to set a couple jumpers on the main board to use the board clock rather than power line tick (ATX don't have a power line tick output).
The snag about getting it fixed is - no spare parts. CBM bought 'em all. This tactic was common at the time, wasn't just Commodore who did that.
And do check your clock battery hasn't leaked. Unlikely, barrel type, but still possible.

Oh, and schematics here if you want to check;-

I reckon you should be able to find someone local who can do this. It's not that difficult if they are familiar with PSUs generally.
EDIT:
Ian Stedman does have a sales page, but he is on the other side of the Atlantic from you. Still might be worth enquiring.

Have you checked for battery leakage? Can be really bad on a 3000T.
-
Even if the battery has leaked, still worth getting it repaired. Towered A3000s are rare, and in demand.
I doubt a repair would cost more than resale value.

Thanks guys, appreciate the help and suggestions.
No battery leakage. I removed the battery many years ago to keep this from happening.
I am pretty sure it's the power supply and have an ATX supply I'm going to try to put in it as soon as an adapter I have found about and ordered gets here.
After talking with the maker of the adapter this is what I went with:
http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/designs/Amiga_ATX_Adaptor/amiga_atx_adaptor.html
I'll let you know how it works out.
Hoping to get it up and running and install OS 4.0 for the cyberstorm PPC. I have asked for suggestions on that as well here if you have any:

Again many thanks!

Well guys I got the adapter and a new ATX power supply and hooked it all up. Still having problems. Have tried both with and without the cyberstorm accelerator installed.
System flashes 2 colors when turned on. First appears to be black and then a lighter color of black with bars in it. Then it repeats.
The power light flashes 7 times before stopping and repeating again.
There is no battery leakage on the board as this was pulled before it became a problem. System was working fine with the Cyberstorm and a Picasso IV before it quit working several years ago.
When it first quit working I swapped all the removable chips from my 3000 Desktop with the 3000T and didn't get anywhere. I also tried the picasso IV and the Cybertstorm in my 3000 Desktop and they both worked fine there.
Any suggestions as to what to try next would be appreciated. I sure would love to get my 3000T going again.
Thanks

I'm in the opposite situation at the moment. I've acquired the 'remainings' of an A3000T some time ago. It had problems with both the mainboard and the powersupply. I've had contact with a guy who's on A1K.org and he fixed my mainboard. He repaired traces, did some other small things and checked the functionality of the board. I'm told it's working fine now, but I still have to get my powersupply working again.
Could you show me pics of your powersupply solution?

The "black lines" sounds like maybe you haven't set the jumpers on the mainboard for using system tick rather than power line tick. I don't think the adaptor implements the timer wire. I had to do that when replacing an A3000 PSU so I guess that's your next step. And what about the NVRAM SCSI settings when you took the battery out, hmm?

If the jumpers and NVRAM don't get you somewhere, check the chips and the backplane area if you can. Bit of a task with one of those, lot of board space for expansion slots that might have a bent over capacitor or short circuit or similar. Always check for hardware damage or misalignment if you've got a hardware issue.

This is a direct link if you want to check the PSU connector in the A3000T manauls and ATX standards, follow it and search the page for "A3000T";-
http://ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/amiga_hacks/Amiga_Power_supplies/amiga_power_supplies.html#wiringa3000
Also check the faq;-

The problem is pin 1, ATX PSUs don't have a timer signal. So you have to set the jumpers on the mainboard (typically UNDER CPU cards) to get them starting up and displaying properly.
Also, you may have issues if your SCSI settings have been forgotten by removing the battery from the mainboard, another thing you have to get right with the A3000 Amigas.
