Title: How new is BigRam 2630 for A2630 by Individual Computers?
Post by: fondpondforever on January 26, 2017, 07:33:59 PM
When did the BigRam2630 for A2630 accelerator come out by Individual Computers. I'm guessing it only came out about a month ago. You can buy it from the Amiga-shop website. Was just curious because I did not see it on the Individual Computers website. Thanks.

Thanks. How come the picture of this accelerator on the Amiga-shop website blue and the one on the individual computers website green. Is the blue one version 2? Thanks.

These were announced over the summer.  I pre-ordered end of August and received mine around October.  I think color change might be prototype and off top of head dont remember what color it is.   I had bit of trouble getting it to work in my A2000 box until I pulled a MultiCard III out as it was causing stability issues.   Also had to do some software changes to make my A2091 work better as there is some issues with DMA but it works well enough for me and having 121 Megs in a 1989 A2000 is kinda cool.

Thanks Mike, I've been looking for these people. And I don't use Google for searches usually, which is why I had trouble.

Ok thanks for your help. I'm assuming the prototype was green.

Correct. That's what I've normally use these days. Still got google set up for Chrome based browsers. Too much hassle to use unless I DDG is running into a wall.

The REASON I avoid google is, too many people use SEO to put irrelevant garbage high up in Google listings these days. DDG tends to miss these. Not always but it is an improvement.
