Just for fun. Fire up your Amiga and post your speed test results. :)
-
Be careful with the Pancakes and Waffles - Eliyahu might move your thread to the Coffee House for being non Amiga related ;)

Fair enough. It's 1am and I just got off another 16 hour shift at work. Thank goodness for a.org to keep me distracted and amused... although perhaps I should have made it 'coffee' or 'sleep'.

Even the latest version of SysInfo doesn't properly support 060's. I know they made a pretty big deal about "4.0" when it came out a few years ago, considering the previous version (3.24) was something like 15 years old at the time. I wonder if there's any plans to develop that further?
It would be nice to see someone pick it back up again, considering it's such a "standard" on Amiga's. :)

Why use sysinfo over AIBB?

Why use sysinfo over AIBB?
Umm, personal preference? Don't know, I'm sure others can comment more on this. I have a vague recollection of trying AIBB back in the day, thought it was unstable and didn't care for it's interface.
It never seemed to have the traction SysInfo did as far as installed user base, your experience may vary. ;)
-
I always believed sysinfo had some inaccuracies.
-
It wasn't very accurate, Sysinfo, for benchmarks but it was very nice for "peeking under the hood". Still is.
It's way more bulletproof because it's standalone, doesn't need anything else to work.

At work and have no Amigas here, but WinUAE on my workstation at least :) Will edit for a real Amiga when I get home :)

Yes. He did the upgrade and also replaced the flash chip. I don't remember how much I paid though. That part of my life is hazy. :p

Does anyone have a benchmark app already in a .ADF ?
Dont have Winuae correctly installed, and have to find my PCMCIA transfer cf card

I don't have any of my Amigas hooked up at the moment, so... zero?
I vote waffles, because I had pancakes yesterday and am frankly sick of them. I would have voted for French Toast had that been an option.
-
Here, I made a bootable disk.

WHAT???
how can you be sick of something this godlike?

Contains sysinfo 3.24
crashes tremendously when calculating speed on 060 cpu setup in winUae

My wife brought back a metric tonne of pancake mix from the local wholesale chain, so we've had pancakes every weekend for the last year. Perhaps I'd enjoy them more if I made Boing Ball pancakes (to keep things Amiga related, lol)...?

Slap an Amiga logo on them and jack the price up 5000% and sell them, you'll be sitting pretty. ;)

I thought about that, but someone leaked the official recipe a while back, and I'm worried about the repercussions!
:D

Here are my two Amigas:
First an A4000 with 64mhz 060 A3640. The clk90 mod is done as is the machine state mod to increase ram performance. It has 64mb on the motherboard.
