Title: Looking for an AGA music demo
Post by: a1200 on January 08, 2017, 10:01:41 AM
Hi they say you can find anything online so here goes. Back in the mid 90s I recall having a music demo that was AGA only. There was graphics but it was a interactive/menu system with ability to change to different tracks and click on parts of the screen for showing different waveforms etc. I am pretty sure it loaded up with a sample of "They call me hotstepper". I have had a search and there's a demo maker with the name hotstepper but I don't think this is his work. Any ideas?

Oh man, I miss the music disk days. I remember one with "Easy" by Ice MC (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3UWO_0roqw), but not any with Hot Stepper

Here's a list of AGA MusicDisks on Pouet.net: http://www.pouet.net/prodlist.php?type%5B%5D=musicdisk&platform%5B%5D=Amiga+AGA&page=11 - Maybe seeing the name will jog your memory

@CodePoet

Cheers for the link. Nothing jumps out but I do remember a bit more. The interface/screen was in the style of a hifi stack system. You could turn the volume up and down and so forth.

It was a more polished/textured screen then the majority of music disks on Pouet. Any ideas?

It sounds like it might be Securitate's Musaks Disk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKpD0hEnzTY)

Or maybe Crusaders - Bacteria (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0tU8Eckpcg)?

Hi CodePoet, it's neither of them, I guess it might show up someday. Serves me right for selling my gear years ago.
