Title: New version WinUAE released
Post by: Pat the Cat on December 27, 2016, 07:26:36 PM
Looks like quite a few bug fixes, and also support for more 24 bit legacy video cards (ColorBurst, Harlequin and OpalVision). Quite a few other bits and pieces of Amiga hardware now supported compared to previous releases.

You can now run the worlds oldest 24 bit video game on a PC. (Kind of, Kungfu Master isn't a very good game anyway).

I'm not a WinUAE user,  but if you are and want the very latest Amiga version...

If you are a Linux user, I'm told that installing Wine and running WinUAE is the best solution for Amiga emulation, although I doubt it's as good as something like MorphOS running on an old Mac. Depends if you want game compatibility or serious application compatibility, cause a real PPC still rocks. :)
