I received my CD of Personal Paint 7.3b for OS3 yesterday from AmigaKit! :)
I wanted to install right away but there doesn't seem to be an installer. I tried on my A1200 and A2000 but there just doesn't seem to be a way to install. When I double click the PP icon it just starts the program from the CD. I also looked in all the folders for an installer but, nope! :( What am I missing here? Do I need to install an earlier version first? Even if I install an earlier version, how would I update the files from this new 7.3b version? I'm stumped! Also, thanks AmigaKit for getting my order of PP and my new ACA1233n accelerator out so fast! AmigaKit is the BEHHHHHST! :)

Just drag the folder from the CD to your hard drive.
-
And assign PPaint: to the destination directory.
-
Or use a file manager to copy just the main executable overtop of the old one.
Just FYI, I noticed when I installed mine a month or two back that the docs were updated, but the default tool for the .guide file was IconX instead of MultiView. Made for an interesting error message, anyway! ;)

Thanks peeps! Copied CD contents to new folder (show all files) and assigned PPaint: to the destination directory. Works! :)
ASSIGN: [DRIVE]: [DRIVE]:Path/Path in User-Startup
I kind of question the decision for no installer though; especially for newcomers.
@Mike... yup! Crazy infinite loop from .guide file. Sort of like this Hula Hoop!
