I understand that the video of the Alice presentation was low-res and a bit hard to see.

Here is a screenshot of my personal 4.1 Classic Workbench running on WinUAE. Not terribly exciting, unless you know what you're looking at.

That is a lot of memory is the barrier limit fixed in the kernel?

The tabor wasnt running any os at Amiwest they had a board there for display its reallly cool in person. I think mini itx is a great format for NG

Seeing the unpowered board sitting there was cool? Why was it not running an OS? Seems a very, very bad sign.

During his presentation Trevor said that Workbench is booting on Tabor and is being made more stable before wider beta testing .

Lol cmon man do you realize how difficult it is to port amiga os to these new boards? It takes a lot of time... and yes seeing the form factor and the board in person and not online was "cool" ( I didn't know much about "Tabor" project oil amiwest. I have a peg2 so don't follow other ng platforms that closely) I can say if i didn't have a peg2 id have to consider the x5000. It was def cool and was running well. Bill Bosari had one almost the whole show running the presentations.

It's a little worrying that he'd love to test a 4096 byte block HDD but he hasn't seen a drive that supports it, but thinks it should just work.....
