Some older software has been uploaded to Aminet for preservation purposes recently, and in the last two days three infected uploads slipped through the virus checking system we have in place. We are very sorry for the inconvience and any problems this might have created on your end.
The files in quesion are:
- game/actio/MotherLode.adz
- disk/bakup/PDCopy30.lha
- util/pack/BytekillerPro10.lha
If you downloaded these files, delete them immediately.

Amiga virus checkers haven't been updated for more than a decade, but the youngest Amiga virus is a lot older than that.
What I use for virus checking is CheckX, a batch utility utilising xvs.library. Plus a bunch of Bash and AmigaDOS scripts for downloading, extracting and invoking FS-UAE (which then runs CheckX).

But these virus are old, from OS 1.3 it can infect to OS 3.9? or highter?

Yes.

So the answer is to update the antivirus software so that it can detect virus before they are made?
Sort of a chicken and egg question :)
