Title: External PicoPSU case
Post by: Lemaru on October 04, 2016, 02:58:17 PM
Hi All,

Having been in need of a new PSU for my Amiga I decided to look into the PicoPSU route. Not really wanting to try and wedge it inside and make any holes in the case I decided to design a 3d printable Amiga style case for this.

The idea being to have a small, nice looking Amiga style case which would look OK sat on top of the desk, and then the 12v PSU can be thrown underneath out of sight.

The design files can be found on Thingiverse, feel free to do what you like with it and modify it if required.

The ATX to Amiga adapter is from Ian Stedman and can be found here.....

There are two top halves of the case included, one with the Amiga text on the lid and one that's blank. I hope it can be of use to someone.

Hi Ming,

Thanks for sharing your design, it looks great!  I have saved off the files for future needs.

 Much appreciated!

Nice. I like using an original A600, 500 or 1200 case. I've built up some nice pico conversions into them.
