I have a spare Symbol wifi CF card in use with an old Zaurus currently. Would this adapter in combo with a PCMCIA adapter even work on the Amiga (since it's only a 16 bit slot). If so, can somebody point me in the right direction for where to start e.g do I just drop a dos device and lib somewhere, and is there a hardware test I can run?
I understand if I got the hardware working I'd need to install a TCP stack.
Thanks!

There's how-to guides on Amibay and EAB. Or if you just need the driver:
http://aminet.net/package/driver/net/prism2v2
This is for most PCMCIA WiFi cards, don't know about your model specifically...

Thanks I'll give it a shot :)

Symbol cards use a different chip. They use a Symbol MAC chip.

That would explain why I'm seeing no life in the card. I don't suppose there's a symbol driver? I've had a quick look on Aminet for symbol and didn't see anything.

Afraid not. Prism is the only wireless driver available for the Amiga.

For WIFI PCMCIA cards you've got Prism drivers only.
For wired PCMCIA cards you've got CNET and 3com drivers.
If you're looking for a WIFI PCMCIA WPA2/AES cards then have a look here:
